Dangerous Designs

Encompassing works from Australian designers and students alike, Dangerous Designs is a competition based around designing products, furniture and art containing wood or wood products. D.D. primarily target tertiary students studying fields such as architecture, building design, engineering and industrial design, however anyone in Australia can submit an entry and winners are rewarded with exciting prizes and publicity. D.D. aims to shine a light on the wood industry and breathe life back into it, helping students and designers see wood in a contemporary perspective – one of innovation.
 
360South was briefed to create an edgy website that drew inspiration from the logo and its splintered wood appearance. With a Pinterest-esque style of categorizing and displaying projects, our team formed a user friendly interface that would easily navigate through an uncapped number of projects.  Our favourite part of the website is the right aligned project presentation format – it’s so hot right now!
