Hobby Warehouse is a 100% Australian owned company which boasts Australia's largest collection of hobby and enthusiast products including a huge range of RC helicopters, cars, buggies and boats. They help big and little boys to save 30-80% off the RRP. 

When the #1 Hobby store needed a new website design to help keep up with their rapid growth and expansion they turned to the 360South team. We were keen to embark on the critical "research" stage of the marketing process (a.k.a we played with remote control toys all day) until we had a firm grasp of the experience the end user receives from the products. The sense of thrill, fun, excitement, joy and childhood adventure that you can only get from racing a remote control car around the studio :)

The website design is bold, tough and rowdy appealing to the kid in all of us, it’s strong and it means business. The logo we created was in the form of a steel badge on a black background that would fit perfectly on the bonnet of a car, or on the side of a chopper or remote control machine. The use of the industrial cement background would also serve as the perfect backdrop to make the bright colours of the products jump off the page and allow us to use key colours to promote special offers, sales and other promos.
